    • Conducting and assisting with “check-outs” and FAT prior to and with customers at C5 facility as well as subcontractor facilities on heaters and gas processing skids which include verifying/correcting hardwiring, verifying/correcting wiring diagrams, configuring instruments, establishing communications between devices, verifying system functionality according to cause & effect matrix and verifying system functionality according to controls & process requirements.

    •  Oversee the controls engineering and documentation associated with various skid mounted projects.

    • Communicate with internal team members, customers, and subcontractors regarding cause & effect matrix, controls narrative, communications diagram, communication tag list, control panel wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, cable schedule, I/O list, HMI screen shots, and other documents.

    • Participate in the electrical/pneumatic controls aspects of projects on the front end; including proposal research, scope definition investigations, communications of project requirement summations. Including needed deliverables (electrical drawings, BOM’s, data sheets, etc)

    • I&E guidance regarding project details. Working with in-house I&E technicians on conduit/wire routing/sizing and correct placement for hazardous location seal fittings.

    • Familiarity with hazardous location enclosures (NEMA 7/NEMA 4X), hazardous location purge systems for enclosures (Y and Z purge systems), intrinsic safety barriers for hazardous locations, motor starters, soft starters, VFD, VFD line/load reactors, BMS, flame detectors, temperature controllers. BMS platforms including Honeywell 7800 series, Fireye flame relays and Profire.

    • (Not required, but beneficial) PLC platforms including Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Allen Bradley CompactLogix, Allen Bradley MicroLogix, Modicon M340, Modicon Momentum

    • Selecting, sizing, and specifying for procurement process instrumentation found within heating systems and gas processing skids; including such as coriolis flow meters, vortex flow meters, differential temperature flow meters, flow control valves, pressure control valves, capillary tube temperature control valves, safety shut-off valves, motorized valves, motorized air diverters, solenoid valves, temperature sensors, pressure transmitters, differential pressure transmitters, instrument manifolds, oxygen analyzers, combustion analyzers, flame scanners, level sensors, level gauges, pressure gauges, temperature gauges, differential pressure gauges, pressure switches, differential pressure switches, float level switches.
